ANINI, Feb 24: Department of Finance, Planning & Investment in collaboration with State Remote Sensing Application Centre (SRSAC) today organised a workshop-cum-awareness camp on ‘Satellite Based Monitoring and Geo-tagging of Developmental Projects’ here in the headquarters of Dibang Valley district.
Director (Monitoring) Mokir Ori while highlighting the importance of satellite based monitoring and geo-tagging said it is a one-stop solution for effective monitoring and better planning of various developmental projects in the district. With a single platform, data sharing amongst all stakeholders to facilitate faster decision making will be easier which will further strengthen the projects' execution and their monitoring besides ensuring transparency and public accountability, he added. Resource Persons Nilam Sunil from SRSAC, RA, Monitoring Tapo Yorung and Monitoring Assistant Bankong Perme imparted training to the participants.
