PASIGHAT, Jun 28:Department of Field Publicity organized a special outreached program at Ayeng village Community Hall under Mebo Subdivision today. The program was formally inaugurated by the Parliamentary Secretary, Disaster Management and Pasighat MLA Kaling Moyong in presence of Deputy Commissioner TamiyoTatak and Director Field Publicity Arunachal Region Dr. HR Keshvamurthy among others.

The program aimed to highlight the major welfare schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi led union government and Pema Khandu led state government and its achievements and impact on common people.

Speaking on the occasion of “Making of Developing India (MODI)” fest, Moyong said that the main objective of the programme was to communicate the people about the Union Government’s achievements over the last 3 years and to convey about the various Government schemes and initiatives.

While throwing light on various achievements of the state government in particular, he asserted that the state has been achieving tremendous progress under the leadership of CM Khandu and such outreach program will disseminate information and help the people to derive optimum benefits.
