ITANAGAR, Nov 23: State Legislative Assembly Speaker Pasang D Sona mourned the demise of former Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi.
In his condolence message, the Speaker said that late Tarun Gogoi was a committed leader, who made tremendous contributions towards the development of Assam in particular and north east in general.
“In the demise of Tarun Gogoi, people of north east particularly Assam have lost a great leader,” stated Sona while extending his sincere and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He prayed to the Almighty God for eternal peace of his departed soul.
