TATO, Jan 27: State Assembly Speaker Pasang D Sona on Tuesday inaugurated the Designated Microscopic Centre at PHC, Tato in presence of DC, SP and DMO Shi-Yomi.
While dedicating the DMC to the public of Shi-Yomi particularly those residing in district headquarters Tato, the Speaker said, though it's a small development yet a significant one. DMC will help health workers in detecting diseases and carry out necessary treatment to the patients. Stating that the healthcare system cannot be compromised, the Speaker informed that many things are in the pipeline to improve the healthcare facilities of the district in the coming days. For this to happen, the Speaker sought for cooperation from the public.
"Public support is very important for all round development," the Speaker asserted. He also informed that efforts are being made to upgrade the existing PHC Tato to a district hospital.
Earlier, DMO Shi-Yomi apprised the Speaker about the newly inaugurated DMC. She informed that now various tests can be conducted at PHC Tato itself which was earlier done either at Aalo or other districts.
DC Shi-Yomi also spoke on the occasion.
