Tamulpur, Feb 11: Speaker of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Tesam Pongte, accompanied by Deputy Speaker Kardo Nyigyor and the Secretary, APLA, Tadar Meena, on Wednesday attended the Joint Meeting of the Executive Committee of CPA India Region Zone–III and the Executive Council of NERIPSTR, at Tamulpur, Assam. 
The meeting was chaired by Sharingain Longkumar, Chairman of CPA India Region Zone–III and President of NERIPSTR. 
Speakers, Deputy Speakers, and senior officers representing all eight Northeastern states participated in the deliberations.
A wide range of issues concerning the functioning and future activities of CPA India Region Zone–III and NERIPSTR were discussed in detail. During the meeting, it was unanimously decided that the next CPA India Region Zone–III Conference would be hosted by Tripura.
The meeting underscored the commitment of Northeastern legislatures to strengthening parliamentary democracy, capacity building, and inter-state cooperation in the region.
