MECHUKHA, Jan 21: State Assembly Speaker Pasang D. Sona on Thursday witnessed the COVID-19 vaccination drive at Community Health Centre, Mechukha. 
Altogether 100 frontline works including Health, Anganwadi and Asha staff were administered the Covishield jabs.
DRCHO Dr Gebu Sona, who led the vaccination drive for Shi-Yomi district, briefed the Speaker about the vaccination process. 
Lauding the frontline workers for their untiring and selfless services to the general public particularly during the covid situation, the Speaker called upon the recipients of vaccine to strictly observe the SOPs of vaccination. 
Speaker was accompanied by DC Shi-Yomi Mito Dirchi, ZPM elected Eling Koje and HoDs of all government departments
