MECHUKA, Apr 3: Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly speaker Pasang D Sona on Saturday flagged off a fleet of five ATV Quad Bikes and three kayaks at the Mechuka Adventure Park at Chupala near here.
The simple but impressive function was also attended by SP Shi-Yomi Gothombu Dajangju and Mechuka CO Honjon Perme.
With this the adventure enthusiasts now can enjoy quad biking and kayaking anytime throughout the year apart from paragliding which is already operational. Also within a few days, around 1 km long Zip lining will start at the park.
Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker commended Bengia Seeker, the one managing the park, and his team for the initiatives.
He expressed happiness over the introduction of various adventure activities in the park and exuded hope that it will surely attract visitors especially adventure enthusiasts and also provide employment opportunities for the youths of area.
He however suggested them not to compromise with safety measures, and asked them to impart proper training to the facilitators of adventure activities.
Later, the Speaker along with SP, CO and others took a ride from Chupala to Mechukha town in the quad bikes, and also tried their hand in kayaking in the Yargyap Chu River.
