AGARTALA, Jun 5: The Executive Committee Meeting of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region Zone-III, chaired by P D Sona, concluded today at the Tripura Legislative Assembly in Agartala. 
The meeting brought together Speakers, Deputy Speakers, and officials from all Northeast States Assemblies for a discussion on various issues pertaining to CPA India Region Zone-III and the North East Regional Institute of Parliamentary Studies, Training & Research (NERIPSTR).
The delegates deliberated on a wide range of topics, including legislative practices, parliamentary research, capacity building, and the overall strengthening of parliamentary institutions in the region.
One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the unanimous decision to hold the 20th Annual Conference of CPA India Region Zone-III in Shillong, Meghalaya, in September of this year. 
Expressing his gratitude for the successful conclusion of the Executive Committee meeting, Sona, Chairperson of CPA India Region Zone-III, said, "We are delighted with the outcome of this meeting, which has strengthened our commitment to promoting parliamentary excellence and democratic values within our region. The forthcoming Annual Conference in Shillong will serve as a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to foster mutual understanding and cooperation among 8 sister states."
Sona also expressed his appreciation to the organizers, the Tripura Legislative Assembly, for hosting the meeting and providing a conducive environment for productive deliberations.
