ITANAGAR, Apr 24: A slight improvement in the state’s Covid situation was noticed on Saturday with a fall in daily addition from 134 cases on Friday to 116 on Saturday.
With the new 116 additions (ICR 34, LDV 20, Papum Pare 12, West Kameng 11, East Siang 10, Lower Subansiri 5, Namsai and Changlang 4 each, 3 each from Tawang, Lohit and Anjaw, 2 each from Pakke Kessang and Upper Subansiri and 1 each from West Siang, Tirap and East Kameng), the state’s total active caseload is now 550. Recoveries, however, have dropped from the earlier day’s 61 to 19 (ICR 7; LDV 5, West Kameng 4; East Siang 2 , Namsai 1).The state’s total recovery/discharge count now stands at 16940.
3062 samples were collected on Saturday. District-wise major collections are: ICR 817, Papum Pare 814, West Kameng 207, LDV 310, Namsai 158, East Siang 188, Changlang 105 and Lohit 120.
Currently, there are 19 Covid patients at DCH Chimpu, 3 at DCHC Midpu, 2 at DCH Pasighat and 1 at DCHC.
