ITANAGAR, Sep 27: Six from Arunachal Pradesh have completed their training on Ice- less curling sport. They took part with rest of the Indian contingent at CFI -National Ice-less curling training seminar held at Jammu and Kashmir, from September 22-26 last.
Players and trainers from 17 States took part in the training. Now,these trainers will train their players in their respective states and prepare a team for Khelo India National Winter Games which will be held in December in Jammu and Kashmir.
Arunachal team, led by the President of Arunachal Pradesh Curling Association, Sanjoy Dolo exuded confidence that Arunachal would do outstandingly in this game. Arunachal team though undertaking training for the first time, won against senior team Delhi by 3 points.
He further informed that, Curling Association of Arunachal will conduct National Ice- less curling training seminar in Arunachal in the month of November.
