KOHIMA, Nov 28: Attending the International Tourism Mart (ITM) at  Kohima, Nagaland, Advisor to Minister Tourism, Laisam Simai during his presentation appealed to the delegates and stakeholders to visit Arunachal and other Northeastern states for its rich cultural diversity, natural beauty and its rich biodiversity.
Arunachal Pradesh is the largest of the Northeastern state with huge tourism potential and with the help of Government of India, the state is quietly becoming one of best tourism destinations of the country with fast improving roads, thus visitors are making frequent visits to the state in higher numbers, added  Simai.
He further, thanked the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Nagaland Tourism for organising the ITM, which is being organised on a rotation basis by all the North Eastern states.  Simai also extended his gratitude towards the Ministry of Tourism for sanctioning the Parasuram Kund project and promised to put honest effort to utilize the fund to develop a world class pilgrimage place.
Abu Tayeng Director Tourism and artisans are part of the delegation taking part in the 3 day event at Kohima, Nagaland.
Minister of State for Tourism & Defence  Ajay Bhatt inaugurated the ITM, Kohima on Saturday evening organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India in association with Nagaland Tourism.
