Itanagar, Feb 28: The Special Investigation Cell has taken over the case in connection with the leakage of question paper of Class VIII for Science and Social Science subjects under the State Board Examinations (APSBE-2021-22).
The SIC today was granted three days Police custody of the prime accused for production before the Special Judge (PCA), Yupia.
The prime accused of the case Mrs. Tezi Ramdasow, Principal of Dirang Valley Public School was arrested by the Bomdila Police and sent to 14 days judicial custody by the District & Sessions Court. Bomdila.
A case was registered at Dirang PS vide FIR NO. 02/2022 dated 24/02/2022 u/s 420/120(B) of the IPC in connection with the leakage of question paper.
Consequent upon approval of the competent authority the case has been transfer to SIC PS Itanagar and the case is re-numbered as SIC PS Ita Case No. 02/2022 u/s 420/38l/406/120(B) of the IPC.I860 r/vv Sec I3(l)(a)& 13(2) of the PC Act, 1988 and endorsed to Inspr. B.Krong for further investigation, informed Superintendent of Police, SIC (Vigilance), Dr. Hemant Tiwari.
Further investigation of this case is going on. SIC is committed to bring all the culprits of this case to justice, the SP said.
