BOLENG, Dec 15: A meeting was held under the chairpersonship of Deputy Commissioner Siang, Atul Tayeng to the review progress in the last quarter across all indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) today.
Various departments presented their progress across various indicators of the SDG parameters. On-going schemes, roadmap for the upcoming quarter and viable targets were also deliberated upon. Particular emphasis was put on developing a portal for real-time monitoring across key health, education, and nutrition indicators.
DC Tayeng averred that data collection is vital for effective analysis, review, and implementation of the SDG parameters. In this light, departments were asked to ensure timely updation of data.
In his address, the DC emphasised a district development vision that focuses on coordination among executing agencies, active participation of stakeholders, and prioritisation of projects that raise the standard of life vis-à-vis the SDG agenda. The overarching vision, he noted, is the development of the district – for this, an open-door policy is in place to arrive at quick and effective solutions to overcome any hurdles. DIPRO
