Aalo, Aug 8: The first two Covid-19 positive patients from Shi-Yomi district were released from the Covid Care Centre (CCC) Mechuka on Friday last.
A small function was arranged to mark the release of the two Covid conquerors who were detected positive while at the Quarantine Centre in Mechuka on July 28 last. Shi-Yomi Deputy Commissioner Mito Dirchi, ADC Bairo Sorum and Dr. Millo Kunya were present to encourage Medical Officer Dr. Inu Ete and the team of frontline Covid workers engaged in controlling the spread of the virus in the district.
Meanwhile, in Aalo two more recovered patients were released on the same day taking West Siang’s recovery tally to 20. At present the district has only one active patient undergoing treatment at the township’s CCC. DIPRO
