AALO, Aug 12: Setting a humanitarian example at the time of Covid pandemic, the Tadin Hill Park Neli Self Help Group has been distributing organic green vegetables to the Covid-19 frontline workers at Piyi check gate.
Such remarkable help and assistance have arrived time and again from various civil societies of West Siang district in the form of cash, kind and human resources ever since the lockdown started in March last. These societies have contributed cash and kind for furthering the ‘Mask for All” campaign where the SHGs of different villages were trained to produce large numbers of mask at reasonable rates. Frontline workers at Piyi and Nyorak check gates are also being served food by these societies.
Their other Covid combat activities include Ali Ternam/Ali Pator/Uyu Yulu, erection of check gates and construction of quarantine centres at various locations. DIPRO
