AALO, Apr 13: A severe cyclone accompanied by thundershower that swept Sesi Likar village under Kamba Circle in West Siang district between 4.30-5.00 pm on Monday caused injuries to several villagers, the condition of one is said to critical.
The injured has been referred from the Kamba CHC to General Hospital, Aalo for further treatment. Many houses are also reported to be damaged and the displaced people have been temporarily accommodated at neighbours’ houses. Circle Officer Kamba Jumyir Ronya Kato, ZPM Damli Niri, PRO to MLA 27th Liromoba, Nyamo Karbak and OC PS rushed to the affected village to take stock of the situation.
The team heard the grievances of the villagers and assured to inform the higher authorities for mitigation of their woes. DIPRO
