Indian Army conducts ‘Know Your Army’ outreach
ITANAGAR, Feb 13: Seva Bharati Arunachal Pradesh conducted its 18th Dhanvantari Seva Yatra in East Kameng and West Siang districts from February 9-11 in collaboration with National Medicos Organization.
As part of it, a number of groups of doctors conducted free medical camps in remote areas of the state. In East Kameng a group of doctors led by Dr Abhisek Garg from Delhi, Associate Professor, Paediatric Surgery, IGIMS Patna Dr Ramjee Prasad, Paediatric Surgeon, IGIMS Patna Dr Neha Kumari, Dr Protim Dey and Dr David Sarkar conducted free medical camps in Kasse Bagang, Jayang Bagang, Yangfo Basti 1, 2 and 3 and Sanchu Sullong which benefited more than 250.
Similar health camps were organised in Manigaon, Karo and Tato villages in West Siang which benefited 396 villagers.
