ITANAGAR, Oct 31: Kurung Kumey outplayed Upper Subansiri 6-0 in the 3rd quarter final of ongoing Arunachal State Level Women's Football Championship 2021 played today at  Sangey Lhaden Sports Academy Ground, Chimpu.
In the comfortable win, Tamchi Marma (3',45') and Kai Rumi (53',60') contributed  two goals each while Tarh Kiokam (25') and Taba Sama (75') scored a goal each for Kurung Kumey. Upper Subansiri could not produce any chance of come back throughout the match.
In a highly competitive last quarter final of the Championship, Ziro Utd FC scored the winner in the additional time of second half to defeat Papum Pare 2-1 in a very close affair. After playing a goalless draw in the first half it was Ziro Utd who opened the scoring in the 49th minute strike by Toko Yaja. In response, Papum Pare soon equalised in the 65th minute through player in form, Techi Akung.
Before match was about to go for the extra time, Kago Kahe scored the most important goal for Ziro Utd FC in the Championship so far in the dying minute of the match(80+2') to seal their place in last Four. Golo Yarang was declared Player of the Match for her stern defense.

Lohit will meet East Kameng in the first semi final at 11:30 AM tomorrow while Kurung Kumey will face Ziro Utd in the 2nd Semi Final at 2 PM in Sangey Lhaden Sports Academy Ground, Chimpu.
The final match of the Championship will take place on 3rd November next, informed Gebin Kato, Organising Chairman.
