Seijosa, Jan 5: The first district development review meeting was held in Seijosa, Pakke Kessang District under the chairmanship of Secretary RD & PR-cum Mentor Secretary of Pakke Kessang District, AR Talwade. The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Tayek Pado,  Superintendent of Police, Habung Hailyang, DFO Pakke Tiger Reserve, Suraj Singh along with other officials.
The Chairman, while taking stock of the status of works under every department, exhorted that Pakke Kessang being a newly created district has lot of advantages for the implementation of various central and state schemes. Numerous works are being carried for the district; therefore, it should be streamlined from the bottom and planned accordingly for timely completion of the project, he said.
He also stressed for proper utilization of infrastructure already created especially for the early function of Panchayat Bhawan and to expedite the establishment of a bank at Lemmi.
While concluding the meeting the chairman urged the Deputy Commissioner to conduct review of the progress of work on a regular basis at the department level and ensure regular site visits and submission of data in various portals.
