YINGKIONG, Jul 10:

 

Minister RD and PR, Alo Libang inaugurated newly established Litum Tummuk Vidya Niketen School a project under Arunachal Siksha Vikas Samiti at Halleng, 7 kms away from Yingkiong on Sunday.

 

Libang who initiated the establishment of the school, extended thanks to the Arunachal Siksha Vikas Samiti and was optimistic that the school will provide quality education in the remote district and contribute in producing bright citizens. He assured all possible help for infrastructural development of the school and urged the land owners in the vicinity to donate land.

 

DC Remo Kamki asked the teachers to work with missionary zeal with dedication and appealed the villagers of the area to extend necessary co-operation for smooth functioning

of the institute.

 

Co-Ordination, Arunachal Siksha Vikas Samiti, MN Trivedi said that the time has come to put up a system in education sector that brings about a change in producing quality human resources other than the average.

 

Later, the Minister attended the Guru Daksina Day Programme organized by RSS, Upper Siang Unit at Community Hall Yingkiong.
