TEZU, Dec 18: A credit camp with the aim of ensuring hassle-free access of bank credit by the needy and deserving people was organised here by SBI Tezu on Thursday.
As a part of the one-day initiative, SBI Chief General Manager, NE Circle, Guwahati and General Manager Suranjana Dutta handed over the sanction letter for agricultural infrastructure fund, 3 fishery, 1 Stand-up India and 25 KCC loans to the borrowers. A mobile ATM was also inaugurated at SBI Tezu for the convenience of denizens of the township.
Meanwhile, a similar credit camp was also conducted at SBI Roing wherein the borrowers under Stand-up India and KCC schemes received loans. The SBI CGM appealed to the loan recipients to utilize the fund judiciously in their respective economic pursuits for employment generation and requested them to repay the loans within scheduled time limits.
