ITANAGAR, Sep 11: Arunachal Pradesh reported its 10th death due to COVID-19 today, that of a sanitary worker with no medical history.
This is the first Covid-19 fatality without comorbidity. The State Bulletin informed that, the deceased, a 38-year-old woman (Non-APST) died at 02.15 AM at Dedicated Covid hospital, Chimpu due to Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) with COVID-19 infection. She had tested positive on September 6. She was shifted from Dedicated Covid Health Center, Midpu to DCH Chimpu on Thursday night in a critical condition. She was working as a Sanitary Assistant at the Rama Krishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar.
Also,154 people tested positive for COVID-19 in the state on Friday, out of which 119 are asymptomatic and 35 are symptomatic.
