ITANAGAR, Mar 22: The 5th Lt Fr. Salew Thomas Volleyball Tournament organised by capital’s Don Bosco College concluded today here at the college campus.
Department of History lifted the Winner’s Trophy in boy’s category by defeating Department of Commerce. In girl’s category, B.A IVth Semester Section C emerged winner by defeating B.Com IInd Semester. Jacob Wansgu from the Department of History was declared the Best Male Player and Tassar Yagung from BA IVth Semester Section C was declared the Best Female Player. Chairperson, GPM-Jollang Panchayat Tana Taha Tara was the Chief Guest.
Principal, Dr. Fr. Jose Karamullil was also present on the occasion. Department of Economics students performed a skit to mark the World Home Economics Day.
