NIGLOK, Oct 10: On the occasion of 88th Air Force Day on October 8 last, Sainik School East Siang organized an online guest lecture session by Group Capt. Mohanto Panging, VSM, the only fighter pilot from Arunachal Pradesh to have served the Indian Air Force.
In his lecture, Group Capt. Panging while motivating the Risers asked them to work hard and remain mentally prepared for NDA and SSB interviews. During the hour-long session, he shared his experiences of flying the Sukhoi 30 MKI, Jaguar and Hunter and recapitulated his school days at Sainik School Goalpara. Speaking about the good changes which have taken place in the school, he expressed his readiness for its further betterment. Risers also took part in different activities like aircraft model making from materials available at home, poems on Indian Air Force, sketch/diagram drawing of fighter planes/ aircrafts and poster making on the IAF.
