PASIGHAT, Dec 7: Sixty cadets of Sainik School today visited 22 AP Battalion NCC at Pasighat to get enrolment in NCC Junior Division and commence their ab-initio NCC Orientation.
Speaking on the occasion CO NCC, Lt Col MS Nijjar welcomed them to the folds of NCC and acquainted them with the aim and purpose of establishing NCC in India. The CO praised the efforts of the new Principal in registering the Sainik School, getting approvals and commencement of NCC training. He advised the cadets to inculcate discipline, punctuality, can-do approach, positive attitude, patriotism and good habits. The cadets also visited Advance Landing Ground (ALG) Pasighat to get acquainted with functioning of Indian Air Force and various aircrafts. According to the Principal, Praveen Kumar Pola, such kind of motivational tours would help the cadets to aspire for joining Armed Forces and also affirmed that many of these kind of tours/visit are in pipeline. Besides the Principal, Administrative Officer Squadron Leader LR Zote, teachers and staff accompanied the cadets.
