ITANAGAR, Jul 18: Amid the current pandemic-induced lockdown, Sainik School East Siang has kept the academic activities alive by successfully completing two months of online and e-classes.
Ever since the Digital Learning Package (DLP) has been initiated, the school staff have toiled hard to make the monotonous online learning interesting for the students. Guest speakers from every walk of life have been invited on a regular basis to motivate the Risers and every Saturday the school organizes a guest lecture session where they get wider exposure to knowledge and experience.
As a part of the endeavour, Associate Professor at Don Bosco University (Global Centre for Open and Distance Education) Dr Uzzal Sharma delivered a lecture on Phishing on July 4 last where the Risers learnt the current threats of cybercrime and its menace. Dr Reena Bhatt, an experienced Homeopath and Yoga Master and Wellness Promoter with a certification in Preventive Care for Covid-19 from WHO, through her lecture and demonstration revitalised the Risers’ energy channels during the session.
Principal Sainik School, Lt Col Rajesh Singh extended his gratitude to Dr Sharma and Dr Bhatt for devoting time for the school’s Risers.
