BORDUMSA, Jan 17:  A jointly funded Rural Haat was inaugurated today at Bordumsa by Dr. Devansh Yadav, Deputy Commission Changlang and Dr.Gopal Kumar Nair, General Manager/OIC NABARD.
The Rural Haat has been jointly funded by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development  (NABARD) and NERCORMP.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Changlang, congratulated all the Self Help Groups (SHG) and the Mahila Mandal Bordumsa for getting the new outlet in the area. He also informed that total area of 500 to 1000 sq.ft land is ready for a new Rural Haat at Jairampur. 
Whenever NABARD wants to start the proposal, the district administration is ready to give a green signal, added the DC. He also urged the SHG to connect with the Bank at first for easy financial assistance.
General Manager Nair also appreciated the implementing agencies for successfully completing the project. He said the initial stage will be good,  but the main challenges is how it will be maintained  in days to come and urged  the SHG to make a committee to maintain and run the Rural Haat properly.
Meanwhile, newly elected ZPM Khachang Maio extended gratitude to NABARD and NERCORMP for installing Rural Haat, which will be beneficial for the people of the area.
Earlier, similar rural haat was inaugurated at Namphai under Kharsang circle.
Among others, DDM-NABARD Kamal Roy , PRI leaders, members of SHG also attended the event.
