ITANAGAR, Feb 12: The Regional Outreach Bureau, Itanagar organised an Integrated Communication & Outreach Programme on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav & Importance of Covid-19 Vaccination with a Two-day photo exhibition at Abotani Vidya Niketan, Pachin, Naharlagun.

Inaugurating the exhibition on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Director DIPR, Dasher Teshi informed the participants that his department has also conducted programmes on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at several places in Arunachal Pradesh including Dipa village, where the national flag was hoisted for the first time by Moji Riba, an unsung hero. He requested the participants to cherish our hard earned freedom by contributing towards nation building. Participants were also sensitized about the importance of Covid -19 vaccination. Speaking on the occasion, Ashokan Kv, Joint Secretary, Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti requested the participants to visit war memorials of great unsung heroes of the state and pay tribute to them. Programme Head, ROB, Itanagar, L. Dawa, highlighted the aims and objectives of the programme.

Several pre-publicity activities like theme based essay writing, drawing competition and distribution of mask and publicity materials were also conducted by the Bureau.
