PASIGHAT, Nov 30: Mentor Secretary  and Commissioner Finance, Y.W. Ringu today reviewed the implementation   of  development schemes under  State and Central sponsored  schemes in East Siang district.
Chairing her first meeting with head of departments as Mentor Secretary for the district here today, Ringu said  that the aspirations of the target beneficiaries and people should be the first focus. She exhorted  to work with team spirit   in service delivery of beneficiary related schemes and  developmental initiatives to improve the quality of life of the people  and  to make the district a frontrunner in all developmental sectors.
The Mentor Secretary said  that as envisaged by the state government, Seva Aapke Dwar  2.0 takes a paradigm shift from 'Sarkar Aapke Dwar' in service delivery to the people, based on the actual requirements of the people. So our service delivery should take a need based approach meeting up the aspirations of the people. Gaon Mitras in the villages have an important role to play in Seva Aapke Dwar, she added.
Ringu further stressed on proper planning, 100% saturation of all beneficiary schemes and adopting holistic and  outcome  based performance in all sectors to achieve developmental  goals.
Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu in his address extended gratitude for guiding the district in all developmental sectors. ADC Hq Taddo also attended the meeting.
Earlier, HoDs gave presentation on status and achievements of their respective departments. (DIPRO)
