RONO HILLS, Jun 29: Rajiv Gandhi University Teachers’ Association (RGUTA) on Monday organized a fruit plantation drive around its office premises here in the varsity campus.
The programme was originally scheduled for June 5, the World Environment Day, but was deferred due to the prevailing Covid situation. Around two dozen saplings of plum and orange donated by General Secretary, RGUTA and Associate Professor in the Department of Commerce Dr. Philip Modi were planted. Almost all the executive members of the association participated in the plantation drive. President, RGUTA Dr. Daniel Mize and Vice President Professor Boa Reena Tok were among others who joined the event.
