ITANAGAR, Nov 21: Nyaton Kitnya, a PhD scholar from the Department of Zoology, Rajiv Gandhi University has won the Best Oral Presenter Award at the International Conference on “Recent Advances in Animal Sciences 2019 (ICRAAS-2019)” held at Pachhunga University College, Aizawl from November 6-8.
Altogether, 130 researchers participated from all over India along with 9 well-known Indian scientists and foreign delegates as plenary speakers. She presented her work on the topic “Note on Distribution and Ecology of the Himalayan Giant Honey Bee Apis laboriosa”, an important pollinator which plays a significant role in food security.
