Indian Army conducts ‘Know Your Army’ outreach
RONO HILLS, Jun 22: In a small ceremony conducted in a blended mode at the Smart Theater of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) of Rajiv Gandhi University, the representative members of the varsity fraternity were presented with laptops.
Vice Chancellor Professor Saket Kushwaha gave away the laptops, 200 in numbers to the members present physically, sharing the information that keeping in view of the online academic activities due to Covid-19 pandemic, a relief of Rs. 1500 has been disbursed to all the faculty members to cover the data usage cost. The additional support of laptops will inspire all to work harder to achieve higher academic pursuits, the VC said. The programme was conducted under supervision of Joint Director of the Centre, T. D. Megeji and his team.
Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Amitava Mitra, Registrar Dr. N. T. Rikam were among others who spoke during the event.
