RONO HILLS, Feb 12: Rajiv Gandhi University will offer free courses under Institute of Distance Education to the students passing out from Donyi Polo Mission School for Hearing and Visually Impaired, Itanagar. This was announced by the vice chancellor of RGU, Professor Saket Kushwaha following the decision taken in the interactive session of the ‘Art for Integration’, a one-day exchange program for the students of Donyi Polo Mission. The event was organized by Institute of Distance Education in Collaboration with Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahlaya, Bhopal and Arunachal Institute of Tribal Studies, RGU.
The students had come for a field trip to Rajiv Gandhi University to celebrate the Valedictory Session of ‘National Seminar on Cultural Heritage of Arunachal Pradesh’ held on February 11-12 at AITS. The University also decided to initiate Higher Secondary Education through National Open School for the students passing out from the mission.
