RONO HILLS, Mar 25: A two-day webinar titled ‘Entrepreneurship: A Design Thinking Approach’ organised by the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Rajiv Gandhi University in collaboration with its Department of Management concluded today.
Speaking in the inaugural session on the role of design thinking and its relation to innovation, RGU VC Professor Saket Kushwaha said that the so-called waste could be areas of immense entrepreneurial opportunities. On the inaugural day Sriparana Baruah from IIE, Guwahati spoke on ‘Importance of empathy in designing new products and services’. Resource Person, Dr. Momocha Singh from NIT, Arunachal Pradesh emphasized on various techniques of ideation. Dr. Guruprasad Rao of Imaginarium took the participants on a journey of ‘prototyping’ in bringing out innovative sustainable products and services and Rahul Patel from IIT Kanpur stressed on the importance of testing products and services in real-world scenarios.
