RONO HILLS, Sep 8: Department of Commerce, Rajiv Gandhi University conducted an online International COVID-19 Awareness Quiz that was spread over six weeks.
Commencing on May 23, the quiz concluded on July 3 and was conducted under the prime initiative and leadership of Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, Dr. Vinod Kumar Yadav. More than thirty two thousand from across the world participated in the quiz which comprised people from all the 28 states and 9 UTs of the country and one hundred twenty five citizens from 42 countries. Eight per cent participants were from the Northeast out of which three-fourth were from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Top six participating states were Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Maharashtra and Assam which comprised more than 50% of participants.
This quiz was virtually launched by RGU VC Professor Saket Kushwaha in presence of Head of Department of Commerce, Professor Otem Padung, Dean Faculty of Commerce and Management, Professor Tasi Kaye and other distinguished personalities of the varsity. RGU PR
