Rono Hills, May 8: The first ever online Faculty Development Programme conducted by the Department of Anthropology, Rajiv Gandhi University which started on May 4 concluded here on Friday.
On the inaugural day of the five-day programme, VC Professor Saket Kushwaha emphasized on the importance of organizing such online programme during the current unprecedented situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The programme focused on “Emerging Issues in Social Sciences Research” keeping in mind the relevance and applicability of social science in understanding of human society and its immediate environment. Resource Persons from various universities and institutions within and outside India was invited to deliberate on their expertise areas of research and the programme was coordinated by Assistant Professor Dr. Md Asghar & Assistant Professor Dr. Radhe Amung with support from senior faculty members of the department.
