Rono Hills, Aug 19: A two-day national e-symposium on “Crafting Career Choices amid Covid Crisis: Approaches & Strategies” was conducted by the Department of Commerce, Rajiv Gandhi University on August 17-18.
The e-symposium was a collaborative effort of different cells and wings of the varsity including the Placement Cell, Career Counselling Cell, Centre of Entrepreneurship, Internal Quality Assurance Cell, NET Coaching Centre, Training and Leadership Research Cell, National Service Scheme Cell and RGU Students’ Union and was conducted under the leadership and initiative of Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce Dr. Vinod Kumar Yadav. The programme was virtually inaugurated in presence of VC Professor Saket Kushwaha, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Tomo Riba, Registrar, Professor Otem Padung and others from the varsity and participants from across the country and world. A total of seven Resource Persons including two from the organizing institution delivered their presentations through the Google Meet platform.
The valedictory session was attended by Pro VC Professor Amitava Mitra, Head of the Department of Commerce Professor Otem Padung, Director, IQAC Professor Rama Chandra Parida, DSW Professor Sumpam Tangjang and others.
