RONO HILLS, Jul 6: The Multipurpose Room of the Central Library of Rajiv Gandhi University will be inaugurated on Wednesday by Director, Raja Rammohan Roy Library Foundation (RRRLF) and Director General of National Library, Kolkata Professor Ajay Pratap Singh. This will be followed by a special speech by Professor Singh on ‘Changing role of Libraries and academic fraternity in the light of New Education Policy’. The Multipurpose Room which is a dream project of VC Professor Saket Kushwaha will be equipped with cutting-edge technical facilities like smart touch screen board, lecture podium and sound proof studio. It will be used to conduct Ph.D. viva voce, group presentation, preparation of departmental seminars, DPGS/BUGS meetings etc.
