RONO HILLS, Aug 21: A photography exhibition on the theme "A Walk into the Fading Heritage", was held in the preview hall of the Department of Mass Communication, Rajiv Gandhi University marking World Photography Day which was earlier held at the Cygnett Inn Trendz, Itanagar on August 19. The event was organised by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations in association with Department of Mass Communication, Rajiv Gandhi University. The exhibition was attended by the students of mass communication from RGU and St. Claret, Ziro.
The exhibition was the valued collection of ace photographer Donindra Yengkom from Nagaland who has meticulously captured on various ethnographical works that he had done over the years in various parts of the North-East which includes Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur.
Prof. Saket Kushwaha, the Vice Chancellor of the university inaugurated the exhibition. The event was also graced by Madam VC, Dr. Vaishali Kushwaha along with Dean, Information Technology, Prof. Kh. Kabi and Head of the Department of Mass Communication, Prof. Uttam Kr. Pegu.  
The Vice chancellor, Prof. Saket Kushwaha while appreciating the photography works of Donindra Yengkhom also encouraged the students of the Dept of Mass Communication to think of exploring photography as a career option to document the fading heritage of North East in general and Arunachal Pradesh in particular.
