ITANAGAR, Dec 20: The Nyishi for Pan Arunachal (NPA) has declined to support the four point resolution adopted by the All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) claiming that the organisation is somewhere "politically motivated".
Addressing media persons at the press club here today, NPA Chairman Tarh Gambo said that no organisation should politicise any issue in the name of Nyishi. He claimed that the resolution adopted by ANYA in a meeting with the other organisations is somewhere "politically motivated".
He said ANYA is a core youth wing affiliated with the Nyishi apex body, Nyishi Elite Society (NES). Moreover, it is categorically written in ANYA bye-law that the association should initiate any movement with due consultation with NES. “ANYA is disregarding the bye-law; there are rumours of fraction within the association. In this situation bringing up issues for self interest is more destructive than constructive,” Gambo further claimed.
ANYA on Friday had alleged Chief Minister Pema Khandu and his relatives of being involved in a multi- crore scam and misuse of funds under various departments.
