Naharlagun, Nov 2: A coordination meeting between the authorities of One Stop Centre (OSC) and Sincha Ghere Welfare Society was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Centre Administrator, OSC Nada Mampi.
Detailing about the role of the OSC and the type of cases it receives, the Centre Administrator informed that till date the centre has registered 282 cases and the Helpline number 7085086296 has been made functional for women victims subjected to any kind of violence for assistance. As a part of the activities, victims are provided emergency medical assistance, legal and psycho-social counselling and a short shelter of five days, all under one roof 24x7.
Para Legal Volunteer Techi Ambika highlighted the problems faced by the OSC and Advocate Kani Nada Maling appealed to the staff to render services sincerely to the victims approaching the centre for assistance. Case Worker Ribbom Riba also spoke during the meeting.
