Aalo, Nov 13: Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Amarnath Talwade accompanied by Joint Director RD Kompu Dolo during a two-day visit to West Siang on November 12-13 took stock of the schemes implemented under MGNREGA, PMKSY, CMAGY and PMAYG in the district.
The Secretary and his team accompanied by PD DRDA Jiken Bomjen and BDOs visited Kugi, Takpu Bagra, Angu and Biru villages where various people-oriented schemes are being implemented by the Rural Development department. Interacting with the beneficiaries and implementing agencies, the RD Secretary stressed on the need for percolation of benefits to the intended segments and gathered information on job cards and implementation progress of schemes.
On arrival, the RD Secretary was apprised by West Siang Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairman, DRDA Moki Loyi on the schemes currently under implementation in the district. DIPRO
