AALO, Sep 29: An outreach programme for Veer Veterans ESM ( Ex Servicemen ) of West Siang District was conducted at Aalo today. Altogether 35 Ex. Servicemen from Indian Army including DC , ADC , SP & other HODs took part in the day long outreach programme.
Addressing the gathering, Lt. Col. T.C Tayum representing Rajya Sainik Board disclosed that he is touring 11 districts of the state to hear the grievances of Ex. Servicemen and stressed on evolving redressal mechanisms for them in all districts.
The West Siang Deputy Commissioner, Penga Tato assured to lend support for establishing an ESM's office in the premises of DC office to be operated under his supervisions as a grievance redressal mechanism.
The parents of Martyr Naik Tape Yajo, Kirti Chakra (Posthumous) also attended the meeting. DIPRO
