NAHARLAGUN, Mar 10: Member, Divisional Railway Users’ Consultative Committee (DRUCC) and State BJP Vice President Tarh Tarak today visited the Naharlagun railway station to take stock of its current situation.
Tarak informed that after completion of Covid-19 vaccination, DRUCC will appeal to the state government to resume railway services which have been halted due to Covid-19 pandemic. The State BJP VP also informed that the state government has kept railway connectivity as its top priority. Surveys have been conducted for stretches like Naharlagun to Gohpur via Itanagar, Murkong-Selek-Jonai to Pasighat and the major lines are Bhalukpong-Tawang and Likabali-Aalo, he informed.
Meetings and discussions will be conducted from time to time with the Railway authorities for more public amenities, Tarak informed.
