PASIGHAT, Oct 15: “Quality education and development have become synonymous with each other," said Nari-Koyu MLA Kento Rina while gracing the 6th Convocation of Apex Professional University (APU) to confer degrees to pass out batches.
The MLA expressed his utmost contentment on seeing the enthralling energy and vitality of students and congratulated them and encouraged them to be the torch bearers of academic excellence and work ethics in all walks of life.  He urged them to be kind always and to make wise choices in their life because their choices would make a difference not only to themselves, but to the community at large. 
"While our education system is more result oriented, focus should actually be on attaining excellence rather than scoring good marks in the exams," he added.
Guest of Honour Prof. Haris Kumar Sardana, Member- Arunanchal Pradesh Private Educational Institute Regulatory Commission emphasized the importance of quality education and research in universities located in Arunachal Pradesh. 
Vice-Chancellor Dr. P. Ajith Kumar, emphasized the importance of Indian Knowledge system in modern life system. He motivated the students to have the courage and commitment to encourage innovations in operative and regulatory systems to meet the diversified needs of developing India.
The ceremony began with lighting of the lamp by the guests and senior functionaries and 132 students received their degrees. Among others, the event was also graced by the Chancellor of the University, Acharya Dhanwant Singh.
