ITANAGAR, Jul 16: Deputy Commissioner, Itanagar Capital Region, Komkar Dulom today informed that primary contact tracing is being carried out across the capital complex during the ongoing lockdown.
He informed that three persons were traced and tested negative at Nirjuli, at Naharlagun 322 primary contacts were tested and out of which 20 tested positive. In Itanagar, contact tracing was done at Jullang and 6 people were traced out, all testing negative. One person was traced and tested negative at Chimpu, two from Abotani colony tested negative, however in Mowb-II area out of 14 primary contacts, 1 tested positive.
DC further informed that six buildings in Naharlagun have been marked as containment zone and if cases increase, the administration will identify and declare more such buildings as containment zone.
"We have to break this chain and for that we need to follow SOPs properly, stay at home and not venture out without an emergency," suggested the DC.
