ANINI, Apr 24: Dibang Valley District Administration today celebrated the National Panchayati Raj Day here at the DC’s Conference Hall observing all Covid protocols.
Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa urged the PRI members to actively participate in spreading awareness on Covid SOPs and vaccination. PD-cum-DPDO Lijum Ete while highlighting the significance of the National Panchayati Raj Day spoke on the evolution of the Panchayati Raj system in the country and Arunachal Pradesh. ZPMs, GPCs and PR & RD department staff attended the event. The ZPMs assured full cooperation of the district’s PRI members in implementation of government schemes at grassroots level and in the Covid vaccination drive.
The meeting ended with a pledge taking by all those present to rededicate for the overall development of the district’s rural areas. DIPRO
