ITANAGAR, Nov 15: The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind is scheduled to arrive in the Northeast on November 19 for a maiden four-day visit to the region.

He will visit Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Manipur from November 19 to 22 next and will attend several functions, according to information provided by the PIB regional office.

The President will grace the valedictory function of completion of 40 years of Vivekananda Kendra, Itanagar on November 19 next in the Itanagar. He will also dedicate the newly-built State Legislative Assembly to the people of Arunachal Pradesh and address the state legislators at a special session of Arunachal Pradesh Assembly at 3.30 P.M. on the same day.
