Yupia, Jun 29: Following incessant rainfall and heavy floods in Dikrong river, the 132KV D/C  power tower collapsed at Dikrong Pachin river confluence on Tuesday due to which power supply in  Yupia area including Borum and Nyorch villages  have been badly affected.
Executive Engineer R.Dawe informed that his teams are making their best effort to restore the power supply and requested the consumers to cooperate and bear with the department in this time of crisis.
He also informed that almost 80% of clearance has been done today and if every thing goes well then power supply will be restored by Thursday.
