ITANAGAR, Sep 13: The Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex, Talo Potom visited the under construction bridge connecting Helipad area Naharlagun to Yupia Road(Borum) on Sunday.The DC said that the bridge is of utmost importance as once the bridge is completed, it will ease the traffic congestion up to a great extent. The bridge is expected to be open for traffic by March 2022.
Potom also visited a few under construction bridges like Pachin Bridge which he said can be utilised to connect D- Sector and Polo Colony to Pappu Nallah in future and which can also be utilised to connect Chimpu directly without passing through Itanagar. He also inspected the bridge connecting Railway Station Naharlagun to Lekhi.
The DC hoped that once all the bridges are open for traffic, it would reduce and ease the traffic woes for commuters. DIPRO
